I’m a keen traveller and happy to set up my laptop anywhere – a good view and a cup of tea are always inspiring!
Before going it alone, I started my career in sports event management before moving into sports communications, working with UK Sport’s Performance programme.
I’ve spread my net wider since then, but still work primarily within sport, particularly in tennis, where I’ve worked at the Australian Open, Roland-Garros and the Davis Cup. My annual stint at Wimbledon goes back to 2013 – the year Andy Murray wowed us all – where I sub-edit the Official Programme as well as the website during The Championships.
I’ve worked at Olympic Games – the Lausanne Youth Winter Olympic Games as well as Tokyo 202 and Beijing 2022, as well as other multi-sport events including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Away from sport, I’ve worked with a variety of clients, including publishers, individuals, charities, public sector organisations and businesses, covering a range of subjects from travel and aviation, childcare and early education, local government, corporate training and even medieval history and supernatural fiction.
I’ll help you to produce clear and simple text and polish what you already have to make it shine, whether you’re starting from scratch or adding that final flourish.
